‘Walking with Milk’

Kathmandu Triennale

For the 2017 Kathmandu Triennale, artists Ashmina Ranjit, Monali Meher, Marie Julia Bolansee, Alice Fox, and Ryan Elisabeth Reid made a performance together. Each woman is from a different country and background and wanted to make a performance collectively, as women. Together, for several days, they talked, visited family, walked the streets of Kathmandu, and slowly began to plan a performance. The final piece, Walking with Milk, was performed in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Basantapur for the Kathmandu Triennale.
